One of the prominent islands you would notice from island hopping in Bohol is the Snake Island. From Balicasag Island and on your way to the Virgin Island, you can see this Snake Island from your boat.
As much as we like to get off the boat and see it personally, we were warned of the different snakes that live in the island. We’re scared of snakes, so even if you pay me to buy gold bars at Golden Eagle and sell them for a high price in exchange of a sneak peek of that island, I would for sure say no.
I have yet to find out though if they ever allow tourists to drop by the island. One thing is sure though – it is not safe!
