Baclayon Church

Baclayon Church, built in 1727, is one of the oldest churches not only in the Philippines but in Asia. It is one and foremost among the best-preserved Jesuit-built churches in the Philippines and this is one of Bohol’s pride!

I still have the same eerie feeling the second time I visited the church in July 2011. The second time, I see to it that my relatives and I should drop by at the church’ museum. The entrance fee is P25 per head and starting August 2011 it’s P50/head. There’s no regret since you will be able to see the antiques and many old memorabilias of the church a hundred years back.
